LYSAGHT® building products from BlueScope Distribution

Manufactured from COLORBOND® steel and ZINCALUME® steel, LYSAGHT® steel roofing products are available in various profiles, and styles to suit building applications in residential or commercial, contemporary or federation-style. Most, but not all, can also be used for steel walling.

The design of your roof can depend on a number of factors including:

• The shape of the roof and whether it’s going to be pitched, flat, or curved.
• How the shape of the roof will affect its ability to carry rainwater to gutters and downpipes
• The inward and outward wind forces the roof is going to have to sustain
• The attributes and characteristics of other materials used in the design of the roof

In addition to steel roofing BlueScope Distribution also distributes a wide range of accessories from valley guttering and different types of capping to flashing and roof screws, as well as downpipes.

CUSTOM ORB® – Corrugated roofing & walling

CUSTOM ORB® is the hugely popular BlueScope LYSAGHT corrugated steel roofing profile that can be laid flat or sprung curved. Long, wide, strong, and lightweight, it is an economic profile that works equally well for traditional and contemporary designs. Straightforward to work with, this steel roofing profile is quick and easy to align. CUSTOM ORB® has a BMT of 0.42 and 0.48 and both gauges require a minimum pitch of 5° (1 in 12).

TRIMDEK® – Rib-and-pan roofing and walling

TRIMDEK® is available in long lengths and it has a generous cover width of 762 mm. Its BMT is 0.42 and 0.48 and it has a rib depth of 29 mm. The minimum pitch is 2° (1 in 30). The profile itself is a subtle square flute. TRIMDEK® can be used with LYSAGHT TRIM-KLIP® end and expansion joint system.

SPANDEK® – Square corrugated roofing & walling

SPANDEK® is an attractive trapezoidal profile with a contemporary appeal. Strong, rigid, and light, it is an economical option. Available with a BMT of 0.42 or 0.48, it boasts a cover width of 700 mm. The minimum pitch is 3° (1 in 20) and a shallow rib depth of 24 mm.

KLIP-LOK 700 HI-STRENGTH® – Concealed fixed roofing & walling

KLIP-LOK 700 HI-STRENGTH® has a cover width of 700 mm and it offers three BMT options: 0.42, 0.48, and 0.60. The 0.42 gauge has a minimum pitch spec of 2° (1 in 30) while the other two options can be laid flatter at 1° (1 in 50). The depth of the rib is 43 mm. Like KLIP-LOK® 406, it utilises concealed fasteners, so the long, clean lines of the steel roofing remain smooth and good looking. These features make it incredibly versatile.

KLIP-LOK CLASSIC® 700 – Concealed fixed roofing & walling

KLIP-LOK CLASSIC® 700 offers a 0.42 and 0.48 BMT. Its specs for cover width and pitch are the same as those for the Hi-Strength variation but the rib depth is slightly less at 41 mm.

CUSTOM BLUE ORB® – Corrugated roofing & walling suitable for curving

CUSTOM BLUE ORB® is similar to CUSTOM ORB® but with a BMT of 0.60 and 0.80, it is intended for commercial or industrial use. While the cover width of 762 mm and minimum roof pitch requirements are the same, it has a slightly deeper rib depth of 17 mm versus 16 mm for CUSTOM ORB. Ductile, it is ideal for curved, convex or concave steel roofing or for traditional bull-nosed verandas.

KLIP-LOK® 406 – Narrow cover, concealed-fixed roofing and walling

KLIP-LOK® 406 features a concealed fastening method that negates the need for exposed fasteners and provides a watertight guarantee. It has a cover width of 406 mm and a BMT of 0.48. Its rib depth is 41 mm and it can be laid to a minimum 1° (1 in 50).

CUSTOM ORB ACCENT® 21 – Deep corrugated roofing and walling

CUSTOM ORB ACCENT® 21 has an even greater rib depth of 21 mm and the minimum roof pitch it can be used for is 3° (1 in 20). It has a BMT of 0.42 and 0.48 and the same cover width as the previous two profiles. Ideal for low pitched roofs, it creates a bold roofline and is ideal for areas that experience high rainfall.

CUSTOM ORB ACCENT® 35 – Deepest corrugated roofing & walling

CUSTOM ORB ACCENT® 35 has a rib depth of 35 mm as its name suggests. Its BMT is 0.48 and the minimum roof pitch it can be applied to is 2° (1 in 30). At 724 mm, its cover width is slightly less than the previous three profiles. It is well suited to use in contemporary residential, commercial, and even modern industrial and recreational buildings.

FLATDEK® – Patio & carport roof sheeting with a flat underside

FLATDEK® has a rib depth of 45 mm and is ideal for carport and patio roofs as well as steel roofing for any other open-sided structures. It has a BMT of 0.42 and a narrow cover width of 250 mm. The minimum roof pitch allowed is 2° (1 in 30).

FLATDEK® II – Patio & carport roof sheeting with a flat underside

FLATDEK® II has almost identical specs as FLATDEK® (above) except that it has a much wider cover width of 820 mm and a slightly lighter mass. It is also intended for use over open-sided structures.

LYSAGHT® Purlins and Girts are lightweight structural steel members, designed in accordance with the AS/NZS 4600: 1996 Cold Formed Steel Structures utilising high strength zinc-coated steel.

LYSAGHT® Zed sections may be used over single spans, unlapped and lapped continuous spans in multi-bay buildings. Lapped continuous spans result in considerable capacity increase in the system.

LYSAGHT® Cee sections may be used in single spans, and unlapped continuous spans in multi-bay building and are ideal as eave purlins or where compact sections are required for detailing.
