GALVASPAN® steel was precisely developed for use in manufacturing purlins and girts and is cold roll-formed into a wide range of sizes. GALVASPAN® steel enables the finished section to be lighter and may reduce fixing times through the use of self-drilling or self-tapping screws.

GALVASPAN® steel comes in a range of grade options, including:
GALVASPAN® G450 steel: This product is hot-dipped zinc-coated, structural steel. It has a spangled surface and a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 450MPa. GALVASPAN® G450 steel is suitable for roll-forming to a minimum internal diameter of 4t. The product is typically used in roll-formed sections for structural applications.
GALVASPAN® G500 steel: This product is a hot-dipped zinc-coated structural steel that also has a spangled surface and guaranteed minimum yield strength of 500MPa. It is suitable for roll forming to a minimum internal diameter of 4t. The product is typically used in roll-formed sections for structural applications.
GALVASPAN® G550 steel: This product is a hot-dipped zinc-coated structural steel with a spangled surface. It has a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 550MPa. It is suitable for roll forming to a minimum internal diameter of 4t and it is typically used in roll-formed sections for structural applications.
